![]() ![]() This has happened multiple times in the past, and most likely will happen to at least one or two decks this expansion too. A deck can be popular one day and then turn out to be really bad. If this isn’t your first expansion then this is obvious, but be very wary of decks early in the expansion. Around Day 3, we generally tend to stop posting everything and focus on high win rate decks or decks that achieved high Legend placements. As meta forms, decks become more refined and it’s getting clear which builds are good and which aren’t. During the first couple of days, we aren’t very picky – we have no win rate statistics so early into the set, so we can’t sift through the bad decks. Once the expansion launches, we give streamers some time to open packs and create the decks, then start posting. If you weren’t with us during the reveal season, you can learn more about the expansion and see all the new cards in our March of the Lich King expansion guide. ![]() Since DK is a new class, we expect most people trying it out on Day 1, so you might see more DK decks than decks for other classes. New class is a big deal in Hearthstone, and assuming that it will be viable (it looks like it will from the early playtesting), it will shake up the meta in a major way. That’s because we’re getting a brand new playable class – Death Knight. While it doesn’t come with any rotation, it’s the biggest release in the history of post-launch Hearthstone, with 203 new cards added to the game at the same time. March of the Lich King is the third expansion of the Year of the Hydra (2022). So if you want something to base your early crafting decisions on, that would be your best choice (it’s still not a guarantee that those decks will remain viable, but it’s better than nothing). We also generally have compilations of best-performing decks in separate posts – one after ~24 hours and the second one a couple days later. This post will be constantly updated over the early expansion period (roughly the first 5-6 days). We’ll try to add decks for all 11 classes, but it’s hard to say whether every single class will be viable. Welcome to the March of the Lich King decks roundup – in this post, we will feature the best-performing early meta builds from pro players & streamers. You can check them out in our latest decks categories – Standard & Wild Of course, I’ll keep posting new March of the Lich King decks daily. Sorry for adding fewer decks than usual, but I generally rely on people sharing them on social media in the first place and it’s been a little bit dry this expansion. Note that in order for Patches to appear in the Volcano Manor and ask you to kill Tragoth for him, you'll need to have progressed his questline in Limgrave and in Liurnia and will also have to complete one assassination contract for Lady Tanith in Volcano Manor.Update: It’s been a week since the expansion’s release, so it’s about time to stop updating this post. You can get the Bull-Goat Set by killing Great Horned Tragoth by invading him near the Ruin-Strewn Precipice Overlook Site of Grace to help the Patches NPC. ![]() You'll need a lot of Endurance if you want to equip this armor and fight effectively. The armor also offers superb protection, though it's important to note that it weighs a ton. Paired with a large weapon like a greatsword or a greathammer, this armor will ensure that nothing short of special boss attacks will stop you from committing your melee swings. ![]() When wearing all four pieces, your character will have a staggeringly high, ridiculous poise stat of 100. If you're a Strength user that wants the maximum possible poise, look no further than the Bull-Goat Set. ![]()
